Risk notice

Trading crypto, especially with leverage, is high risk. TradePilot is for practice with test money — and this page explains what could go wrong, including if you ever trade for real.
Losses are normal
- The Trend Breakout rule loses on most trades (roughly 6 in 10). It aims to make more on a few big winners than it loses on many small losers.
- Long losing streaks happen — the backtest's worst was 19 losses in a row on the 4-hour chart. You must be able to sit through them.
- Track records are backtests on past prices, with estimated fees. Real results can be worse; past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
Leverage and crypto
- Leverage (up to 3× in TradePilot) multiplies both gains and losses.
- Crypto prices can move sharply, gap past your stop, or become impossible to trade for a while. A stop is not a guaranteed exit price.
- Exchanges can halt trading, change rules, delist coins or fail.
Test money is not the real market
- Testnet order books are thin and their prices can drift from the real market. Fills, slippage and results there may not match real trading.
- Bybit Demo Trading follows real market prices, but its fills are still simulated and can be better than real ones would be.
- Paper trading simulates fills at the live price; real orders can fill worse, partly, or not at all.
Automation can fail
- Autopilot follows rules — it can't judge news or unusual markets. It will take every trade that fits the rules you agreed to.
- Software bugs, server or exchange outages, internet problems and blocked networks can delay or prevent orders, alerts or stop updates. Stops are placed on the exchange so they work even if TradePilot is offline.
Rules where you live
Crypto trading is restricted or regulated in many countries, and some networks block exchanges. Check what applies to you. Only ever trade money you can afford to lose. TradePilot and Paaje IT don't give financial advice — if you need advice, speak to a licensed professional.
